Because Heather & Little concentrates on the most difficult, intricate historic sheet metal projects, our artisan metalsmiths all train intensively on traditional hand tools and techniques. On the cutting edge of innovations in the field, we are constantly accumulating experience with the latest materials and procedures. A typical example is the reproduction of the ornamental work covering the twin spires on Notre Dame Cathedral, shown at right (click image to expand). All replacement work was furnished in a new stainless steel, a difficult sheet metal material which demonstrated our soldering skills.
