Heather & Little won the tender to work on this project in the town of Harriston, Ontario. This small community in Wellington County is home to about 2,000 residents, and is located on the head of the Maitland River. This town was settled well over 150 years ago between the years of 1845-1854, with many of the original brick properties still standing.
Removal & Replacement of Asphalt Shingles
This project called for a complete removal and replacement of asphalt singles on two residential county buildings. Structural work was also necessary to ensure the safety of both the building and its residents, including:
- Fascia, eavestrough and downpipes
- New roof ventilation system
- Roof deck repairs
- Waterproof eave protection
- New underlay
Asphalt shingles were used on all new roofing elements of the two buildings, and new sheet metal work.
