H&L understands the myriad needs of historic preservation as well as demands of new design projects and supports architects to achieve their vision.
As an architect, you’ve been involved from the outset in establishing the objectives and plans for a building, and whether your mandate is historic preservation, historic rehabilitation, historic reconstruction or a contemporary build, you need a team where each member delivers industry-leading skills within their area of expertise. When it comes to sheet metal work, it’s Heather & Little you’ll want on your team.
Here at Heather & Little, our artisans have worked on construction and preservation projects across North America and have collaborated with architects to achieve exceptional (and often award-winning) results. With almost a century of experience, Heather & Little can rise to any challenge, whether it's fabricating new metal features for an innovative building design or replacing lost or damaged metalwork using only old photographs as reference.
We install new and replace old roofs for both historic and contemporary buildings, from landmark public architecture through to luxury homes. We work with a wide range of roofing materials, including Sheet Metal, Slate and Cedar, and actually fabricate our own Metal Shingles and Tiles. We also install custom metal wall cladding and architectural panels.
And if you are looking for a second opinion on your project or have a particularly complex issue that needs a fresh eye, we’re here for that too. Tackling tricky challenges is our specialty and we welcome the opportunity to provide consulting advice, with the same exacting attention to detail we bring to all our commissions.
