When Heather & Little are called in to assess and repair the damage, we draw on our years of experience to find innovative solutions to the issues we find, including replicating missing elements, strengthening previous repairs, rebuilding internal armatures and creating custom mounts. Typically, we receive what is left of an original deteriorated statue. We dismantle it, cast molds for each individual part, sand cast half of the dies in negative form, then pour the mating dies. Once this process is completed for every section, the parts are trimmed and meticulously soldered together to achieve the original form.
