Heather & Little provide a stunning and lightweight solution that perfectly tiles a Spanish roof.
Spanish Tile roofs can be found gracing some of North America’s most imposing and graceful buildings. But the weight of a traditional terracotta can be prohibitive. Heather & Little fabricate Spanish tiles out of painted stamped sheet metal for a lightweight solution that perfectly mimics terra cotta or a variety of other colours. When created from sheet copper, the tiles have their own style –– as they age, they develop copper’s classic verdigris patina. We can replicate Spanish or mission tiles to whatever sizes you require, as well as hip caps, tile valleys and eaves tiles for a fully integrated application.

Spanish Tile Valley
There is no shape or size of tile our team can’t replicate with artistry and accuracy.
A Spanish tile roof involves interlocking semi-cylindrical tiles on top of each other. If you’re looking for the slightly different profiles provided by Scandia tiles (similar to Spanish tiles, but inverted upside down) Portuguese or Double Roman tiles (similar to Spanish tiles, but the tile rows have more distinct ribs) or French tiles (an inverted form of the Roman roof) we can work with you to fulfil your vision whether it’s for a new contemporary roof or a historical restoration.
And if you are looking for a second opinion on your project or have a particularly complex issue that needs a fresh eye, we’re here for that too. Tackling tricky challenges is our specialty and we welcome the opportunity to provide consulting advice, with the same exacting attention to detail we bring to all our commissions.
